"Only Silk" Exhibition and Sale

Until October 28th. The Silk Painters of Ontario are hosting their second "Only Silk" Exhibition and Sale at the Alton Mill Gallery in Caledon, Ontario. Twelve silk painters, including BAC member Dianne Sutter and Beaux-Arts Brampton members, will be represented. This group is the first Canadian chapter of SPIN (Silk Painters International), Check the Alton Mill Art Centre website for specific travel directions.

Mellifluence Jazz Trio performs

Tuesday Nov 6 and Thursday Nov 8 from 7-9:30pm, Sunday Nov 11 from 1-4 pm
Tuesday Nov 13 and  Thursday Nov 15 from 7-9:30 pm

The show moves into the Lester B. Pearson Theatre on Sunday Nov 18.

Our rehearsal and performance schedule is as follows;

Tuesday Nov 20
Wednesday Nov 21(dress rehearsal)
Performances are: Thursday Nov 22, Friday Nov 23 at 7:30 pm
                           Saturday Nov 24 and Sunday Nov 25 at 2 pm

                            Thursday Nov 29, Friday Nov 30  at 7:30 pm
                            Saturday Dec 1 at 2pm and 7:30 pm.

Peel Panto Players owns a keyboard that will produce a number of different instruments and sound effects.
There is a lot of opportunity for improvisation in this show. There will also be a drummer.

A flash mob with 300 dancers at the Air Canada Center for an audience of 23,000 was Jade’s biggest project yet. OCTOBER 9, 2012 – Brampton, Ontario – The Rock School will be hosting a Free Christmas Community Choir in the Brampton area.

The school first opened its doors in November 2007 in Brampton, with a mandate to facilitate musical dreams through a dedicated focus of providing lessons in guitar, voice, piano, and drums to children and

[The Rock School is] looking for singers ages 9 to Adults of any age. Auditions will be held Wed. Oct 17
@ 5pm at The Rock School, 6 George Street South, Downtown Brampton. Singers are to prepare 1 Christmas song of their choice for the audition, they are welcome to play an instrument or they may bring a backing track.

Chosen participants will practice every Monday and Wednesday starting October 22. Performances are scheduled in Downtown Brampton on November 16 and 17.
